What is Amazon Prime Days?
If you’re unfamiliar with Amazon Prime days, they are an exclusive 2-day massive shopping event for the site’s Prime subscribers. During these days, only Prime members have access to some of the lowest prices of the year on literally millions of products sold on Amazon.com.
Seriously, if you are doing back to school shopping, college dorm shopping, Christmas shopping or are just looking for a deal, this is the time!
When is Amazon Prime Days?
Deals begin on Monday, June 21st at 12 am PST and run through Tuesday, June 22nd.
Heads up: without a Prime membership you won’t even be able to see the best deals on Prime day.
What do you get with Amazon Prime?
I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for years! Ever since my eldest left for college. It’s proved to be invaluable when it comes to buying and shipping almost everything you can imagine. Prime members get tons of other perks like:

If you’re interested in a sold out lightening deal, you can join the lightning deal waitlist if you see a Join the Waitlist button. If you’re next on the waitlist, you’ll have a limited amount of time to add the product to your cart.

Prime membership is a paid membership that costs $12.99/mo or $119 per year. It comes with all those perks listed above like unlimited free shipping.

Tips for Getting the Best Deals On Prime Days
- Make sure you have signed up for a Prime membership.
- Bookmark the Lightning Deals page to see the flash sales on upcoming items. If you see something you want, add it to your cart so it’s there when the deal goes live.
- Signup for the waitlist on deals that have already been 100% claimed. Chances are you may still get one.
- Interested in something? Click on “Watch Deal” to monitor all your deals.
- If you really want something that’s not for sale yet, add it to your wish list and Amazon will alert you if it does become part of a Prime Days deal.
- Check back often during the two days as more items are added.
- Don’t buy anything until Prime days starts!
