This recipe makes enough for a pitcher of deliciously sweet peach tea. Whether you mix up a pitcher or a single glass, this recipe is sure to become a favorite.


– Ripe peaches – Granulated sugar – Water – Loose black tea

Step 1: Peel and Slice Peaches

You can either just peel them with a paring knife, or dip them in boiling water for 30 seconds so the skins slip right off.

Place the prepared sliced peaches, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and one cup of water into a saucepan.

Step 2: Prepare Fresh Peach Simple Syrup

Step 3: Infuse Ingredients Together

After the 10 minute simmer time, remove from heat, cover and set aside. The cooling time will allow the sweet peach flavor to infuse into the syrup.

While the syrup gets all nice and syrupy, brew the black tea. Bring 8 cups of water to a boil, add tea and let steep for 4-5 minutes.
